Bullying also happens during PE class.   Although bullying is generally thought of as something which happens to school children, adults also can be bullied. I thought that would be the end of it, but it turns out that the girl had to write a report too.

Relational aggression includes teasing or emotional bullying-when a child was scared or made to feel really bad because he or she was harassed by a peer for example, by name calling, having mean things said, or being told that he or she was unwelcome, as well as peers’ telling lies or spreading rumors about the child, trying to make others dislike the child, keeping the child out of things on purpose, excluding the child from their group of friends, or completely ignoring the child.

The worst thing that the child could do is respond by telling the bully that he or she is stupid or make any other negative statement.

But if you educate your children properly about bullying and its consequences then you can save your child from being the victim of bullying. Parents are usually the last to know if their child is being bullied so it’s a good idea to look for the tell-tale signs.

If you decide to give your child a cell phone think carefully before allowing them to have a camera option. Cell phone or Internet harassment is defined as when someone used the Internet or a cell phone to bother or harass a child (including posting messages or pictures).

Too many parents don’t realize how much pain their child is going through until it is too late. Children learn behavior through their parents. Bullying is an aggressive behavior involving unwanted, negative actions. I just want to say that, in the end, things will get better. I didn’t want to do it at first, since I did it with the girl who last bullied me and I was the only person that got in trouble. By investigating these issues we are one step closer to helping those who self-harm.
